David Anthony Thomas of Union, Michigan (formerly of Findlay, Ohio), age 72, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026. He was born to William and Dorothy (Anthony) Thomas on December 5, 1953, in Findlay, OH.

Dave was born the youngest of two children. He graduated from Findlay High School in 1972 and retired from the railroad. Dave was married to his loving wife Laura (Black) Thomas for 20+ years. Dave liked to read, go out on the boat and watch Star Trek. He was happiest in the sunshine, on his boat on Baldwin lake. He was a good, caring, and generous man.

Dave is survived by his wife, Laura Thomas; his sister, Ann (Thomas) Fleer; and his bonus children, Christopher Kasner and Kelli Stitt.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
